Users are seeing redirect warnings when they click the businesses’ website link on the Google Business Profile, but it is only happening on Google Maps (Google Search appears to be unaffected).
In detail, if a searcher tries to click your website URL within your Google Business Profile, they will receive a “redirect notice” from Google. The notice reads: “The page you were on is trying to send you to [the URL you clicked on],” and then adds, “If you do not want to visit that page, you can return to the previous page.”

As for the normal user, this looks like the URL was hacked or has a serious issue. So it is probably causing a drop in traffic from Google Maps and impacting local businesses in terms of foot traffic and website traffic.
Also, the same issue happened in June of 2019, and that time took almost a week to get fixed.
