Details: “I am a new business owner of a locksmith company based in NYC. I was hoping I can use my shared office space as my address for Google My Business but I have heard stories that it is not possible to use shared office space as an address on the maps. Am i better off using my apartment as my Google My Business address?”
Answer
That’s true, Shared offices are a no-no.
You can use your home address for verification purposes, meaning you need to be a service area business by not showing your address on Google.
When you are setting up your account and you arrive at the question:
“Do you want to add a location customers can visit, like a store or office?” You say “No”.
