Reputation.com has analysed more than 4,500 British pubs and restaurants.
These are the main findings:
+20% more positive reviews during and immediately post lockdown
Customers reviews were 87% positive ratings compared to 78% before the lockdown for the same establishments. Facebook is generally showing more positive ratings, followed by TripAdvisor and Google My Business.

68% of Covid-19 related reviews are positive
Due to the pandemic, consumers started commenting on Covid-19 measures in their favourite restaurants and great to see that they are mainly positive.

-92% in GMB Listings Views during April, the peak of the pandemic in UK
As expected during the lockdown in April the number of times people look for pubs and restaurant in UK went down to an all-time low.
During lockdown, GMB views slowly increased as more people searched for food delivery options.

3X More Visits to the Website from GMB Listings since the reopening
When August 2020 is compared to January and February 2020.

+ 142% in the number of reviews between 2016 and 2019

80% of reviews are positive

77% of reviews are on Google
A huge increase from 2016 when Google Reviews were 54% of the total.
