How to change user roles on Google Business Profile/Google My Business

  • more permissions – Owner/Primary Owner
  • fewer permissions – Manager.

Changing users roles on Google Business Profile

  1. On your computer, sign in to Google Business Profile.
  2. In the menu on the left, click on “Users”.
  3. Next to the name of the user you want to change the role, click on “Choose a role” dropdown and choose between: Owner, Manager.
  4. On the pop-up box, confirm the change

Find the user you intend to make the “Primary Owner”
Click on the down arrow to open the user role’s dropdown menu.
