I have to say no, you should not create a new Google Business Profile, even if Google Support tells you to.
Why you should not remove your profile
If it is an old profile, you will lose all reviews and lose the ranking power that comes with age.
Also, for both new and old profiles, it’s very likely that as soon as you create a new profile, it will be suspended.
